First Transgender in Miss Universe 2018


Miss Universe Spain 2018, Angela Ponce was the first ever transgender who competed for an International pageantry. Way back last 2018, Angela Ponce was crowned as Miss Universe Spain 2018. She mad an history in the world of beauty pageants that wowed the crowd. Her aspiring story brought as in tears as she promotes her advocacy in  young women and families with gender equality. Despite of hardship and a member of LGBT Community, Ponce believes that her advocacies will bring proud and honor to its society that everyone should be treated equally. This 27-year old beauty queen was a Spanish Professional model and beauty title holder of Miss World Cadiz way back 2015. 


Angela Maria Ponce Camacho was born on 18th of January 1991 in Pilas, Spain. With her sibling, Amanda Ponce Camacho, Angela knew that she was a girl inside trapped in a boy's body. At the age of 14, she underwent a Sex Reassignment Surgery (SRS) to fulfill her ambition to become a woman. Despite her struggle, Angela was still in her heart to helped her parents with their owned restaurant.  This beauty queen transgender was really an icon to everyone which she really brings proud to her families.
